ALEKS Math
Grades 3rd-12th

ALEKS (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces) is a web-based learning system for grades 3–12. This program allows students to work at their own personal level and pace.

ALEKS is purposefully designed to help educators:

  • Identify instructional gaps.

  • Personalize learning paths

  • Track the progress of student learning and mastery

Students will need access to a tablet or laptop with internet to participate in this course.  (Amazon regularly has chrome books for sale around $40-50.)

ALEKS is the program used in the Lonestar math department.  Getting students familiar with the program now will assure they are ready to participate in college level classes.  Mrs. Gwen Vastine is a math professor at Lonestar and has graciously volunteered to come help us during 2nd period.
